NAACP will hold meeting October 27

The Olive Grove Baptist Church choirs will be celebrating their anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 27,

beginning at 2 p.m. The senior choir will celebrate their 61st anniversary. The young adult choir will celebrate their 30th anniversary. The junior choir will celebrate their 16th anniversary. So lets come out and make a joyful noise unto the Lord with the Olive Grove Baptist Church choirs on Sunday. Mrs. Annie G. Traylor, Ms. Carolyn Raines and Ms. Valentina Robinson - Presidents; Rev. R. The Welcome Grove Baptist Church will celebrate their pastor and wife's 14th pastoral anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 27, beginning with Sunday School at 10 a.m. followed by morning worship service at 11:30 a.m. At 2 p.m. Rev. Jim Gibson and the Hopewell Baptist Church family will bring the anniversary message. Come on out and lets help them have a great anniversary. Rev. J. A. Matthews - Pastor.

The District 7 quarterly meeting of the NAACP will be held on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 5 p.m. in Lamar County, Barnesville, Ga. All branches in District 7 are urged to attend: Butts, Crawford, Lamar, Pike, Spaulding, Taylor and Upson. Mrs. Vivian Brown - Secretary; Mr. Joe White - District Coordinator.

Mr. and Mrs. Ulrick (Tomeka) Mann celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 20. We hope they had a wonderful anniversary celebration, and we wish them many more.

Anniversary wishes are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Kerry (Deborah) Thornton. They will be celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Oct. 24. We wish them many more anniversaries to come.
