Funeral services for Mr. Aubrey Lewis Tucker, 84, of Willingham Springs Road, will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Neil Williams officiating. Burial followed in South View Cemetery.

Mr. Tucker died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002 at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Tucker was a native of Franklin County, Ga. and a resident of Upson County since 1958. He retired as a drag line foreman with the Georgia Department of Transportation after 32 years of service. He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Liberty Worship Center. Mr. Tucker was an Army Veteran of World War II, receiving the purple heart. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sally B. Tucker of Thomaston; daughter, Mrs. Sandra Faye Barfield of Thomaston; sons, Mr. Danny Louis Tucker and Mr. Monte Terrell Tucker both of Thomaston; sisters, Mrs. Mildred Poteat of Columbus, Mrs. Clara McCook of Macon, and Mrs. Donnie Mae Braddy of Thomaston; brothers, Mr. Horace Tucker, Mr. Willie Tucker, Mr. Robert Lee Tucker all of Thomaston, Mr. boyd Joseph Tucker of Butler and Mr. Billy Tucker of Freemont, Calif.; granddaughters Amber Jade Barfield and Natasha McChargue; and a grandson, Ryan Barfield all of Thomaston.
