The Upson County Board of Commissioners would like to announce the three final candidates for County Manager. The candidates are: Mr. Darrell Hampton, Mr. Keith Moffett, and Mr. Jim Wheeless.
Mr. Darrell Hampton
Mr. Hampton currently resides in Jefferson, Ga., with his most recent government position being the County Manager/Clerk of Jackson County, Ga. He possesses a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and a Masters in Public Administration from Columbus College.
Mr. Keith Moffett
Mr. Moffett currently resides in Lizella, Ga., and is employed with the City of Macon as the Assistant to the Chief Administrative Office. He possesses an Associate of Science in Nuclear Science Technology and an Associate of Science in Electronic Technology from Georgia Military College, a Bachelor of Science in Business and Information Technology from Macon State College, an Executive Master of Business Administration from Wesleyan College, and a PhD in Educational Leadership from Mercer University
Mr. Jim Wheeless
Mr. Wheeless currently resides in Pooler, Ga., and and is employed with Savannah Technical College as Vice President of Operations. Mr. Wheeless possesses a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Tilt College of Mercer and a Master of Business Administration from Shorter College.
