Ten-year-old Kya Haywood of Thomaston, one of the stars of the new movie, “The Campaign,” was the guest of honor at the premiere of the movie Friday night at The Ritz Theatre. Kya signed autographs and greeted fans and friends in The Ritz Cafe, then was interviewed and presented a plaque on stage by Malcom Neal, owner of The Ritz Theatre. In the upper photo, Kya is interviewed on stage by Malcom Neal in front of a lit banner of his new movie, “The Campaign.” In the lower photo, Kya signs an August 24th copy of The Thomaston Times, which featured him on the front page, for Kathy Hammock.
