Thomaston-Upson Pre-Kindergarten Lottery Registration will take place from March 11-March 22 at the Upson-Lee Pre-K building located at 216 East Lee Street in Thomaston. Registration will be held from 8:30 am to 2 pm Monday-Friday. In an effort to ensure that all students have a fair and equal opportunity to participate in the Thomaston-Upson Pre-Kindergarten program, students entering Upson-Lee Pre-K for the 2013-2014 school year will be selected by a lottery drawing.
The lottery drawing will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. at the R.E. Lee Auditorium (located in the Government Complex at 106 E. Lee Street). One representative from the applicant’s family may attend the lottery; however, attendance at the lottery is not required. Parents/guardians will be notified of their student’s acceptance or waiting list status following the drawing. Names drawn in the lottery will be given the opportunity to enroll at ULPK for the 2013-2014 school year. A waiting list will also be drawn by lottery.
