Present and future homecoming queens

In the upper photo Lauren Harrell is crowned the 2012 Upson-Lee High School Homecoming Queen by 2011 Homecoming Queen Kimberly Mizell during halftime of the Upson-Lee vs. Spalding football game Monday night. Lauren is the daughter of Jim and Debbie Harrell. In the right photo, Kyla Penny and her mama, Shanna Long, are excited about the 2012 Homecoming Parade, which took place Friday afternoon. With a purple flower in her hair and a football on her shirt, Kyla looks like a future Homecoming Queen.
