Thomaston and Upson County are going to be on national television this summer as the third season of BBQ Pitmasters gets cranked up! BBQ Pitmasters filmed one of their competitions in April at the Smoke On The Water BBQ and Music Festival at Bickley’s Lake. In the photo, cameramen film judges Myron Mixon, Tuffy Stone, and Aaron Franklin as they discuss the BBQ at Smoke On The Water. There was a sneak peek on May 30 on Destination America, a Discovery channel, and the first episode airs this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. This will be its regular time slot. It is not known at this time which episode will feature the Smoke On The Water Festival.
