Rusty Blackston, Chairman of the Upson County Board of Commissioners, is providing a Career Workshop at the Civic Center on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 6 p.m. for all citizens who need assistance with their resume, job search, interview, career choices, and obtaining additional education. This is a free workshop open to the public.
According to Chairman Blackston, jobs are a priority for him and this is just one way of helping Upson County citizens become equipped to land a job in the new year. Plans are to conduct this workshop once per month. There will be a specialist at the workshop to assist in preparing a resume and other valuable information regarding job searches and additional education.
