The Hoppers, ‘America’s favorite family of gospel music’, will be in concert on Friday, May 17 at the R.E. Lee auditorium. The event begins at 7 p.m. and doors will open at 6 p.m. The Hoppers, consisting of Connie, Kim, Claude, Dean and Michael, travel with the Gaither Homecoming Concert Tour and perform nationally and internationally. The Hoppers have received numerous accolades including Mixed Group of the Year for the Heart’s Aflame Awards, Diamond Awards, Singing News Fan Award. Kim has received the title of Female Vocalist and Favorite Soprano for well over a decade. The concert is presented by the Thomaston-Upson Arts Council (TUAC) as a salute to gospel groups from our area. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
