Tuesday evening, Sept. 9, The Thomaston Upson Arts Council Gallery hosted the opening reception of the West Central Georgia Shutterbugs’ second annual “Personal Best” photography exhibit. The exhibit included 56 photos by 28 of the members, and lasts the entire month of September. The public was invited to attend the opening. “We had a really great turnout,” said Shutterbugs Vice-President Fawne DeRosia. “I was so happy to see that many people in the community come out to support us.” The guests were also asked to cast their vote for the “People’s Choice” award. Harolyn Castlebury took home this title. The exhibit may be viewed during TUAC’s regular business hours.
