Mrs. Nettie Jewel Gregg Echols, 87, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Echols will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 in the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home, with burial to follow in South View Cemetery.
Mrs. Echols was born in Columbus, a daughter of the late Jessie Trice and Della Sexton Trice. She was a winder for Thomaston Mills until her retirement in January of 1986.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Gregg.
Mrs. Echols was a member of the Sylvia Hills Christian Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Janice (Winston) Smith and Carol (Buddy) Williams, both of Thomaston, and Cecile (Edwin) Smith of Woodstock; two sons, Richard (Cindy) Gregg of Thomaston and Mike (Linda) Gregg of Williamson; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Frank Redwine of Thomaston.
The family of Mrs. Echols will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
