Mr. Marvin Kendrick Adams, age 78, of Thomaston, Ga., died November 1, 2012 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Adams was born on January 29, 1934 in Pike County, Ga., to the late Horace and Mamie Adams. He worked as a creeler in the Thomaston Mills for many years. Mr. Adams served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and several brothers.
Survivors include his special friend, Ms. Jennifer Reed of Thomaston, Ga., grandchildren Mitchell Reid, Blade Blount, Asia Myers, and Destiny Graham.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fincher Memorial Cemetery.
Coggins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
