On Nov. 14 Hannah Johnson of Flint River Academy signed a softball scholarship with Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Georgia. Johnson was a five-year starter for the FRA Lady Cats, where she commanded center field all five years. The FRA Fastpitch Softball Team finished in the top 5 in the state all five of Hannah’s playing years and won the 2010 and 2012 AA State Championships. Hannah was named to the All-Region and All-State Teams for her junior and senior years as a varsity player. She also played in the All-Star game her senior year.
Hannah will graduate from Flint River Academy in May. She credits her positive softball experience to her school coaches as well as her travel ball coaches. Hannah is the daughter of Ryan and Christi Johnson of Woodbury, Georgia. She is the granddaughter of Ed and Barbara Johnson of Concord, Georgia and Linda and the late David Bohanon of Fayetteville, Georgia.
