It’s getting closer and closer. The Knights are just weeks away from opening up their 2012 football season. Above, junior wide receiver Thomas Dawson makes a very nifty leaping catch in a recent 7 vs. 7 passing game against Westside-Macon on Wednesday. The Knights will begin practice in helmets next week, and full pads starting August 1. Upson-Lee will travel to Barnesville on Aug. 17 for a scrimmage game against Lamar County, and then will open their season up on Aug. 31 in Zebulon against Pike County.
