Jack Felton Rogers, 88, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in the Southview Cemetery in Thomaston at 3 p.m. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the funeral home.
Mr. Rogers was born in Thomaston, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Olivia Mae (Harrell) Rogers and two daughters, Judy Rogers and Cindy Bullington. He had lived in Warner Robins for the past 47 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in World War II. He worked for the United Postal Service for 36 years and loved football, baseball and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Joyce Rogers of Warner Robins; sons Rick (Debbie) Rogers of Milledgeville, Harry (Dianne) Rogers of Sharpsburg, GA, Mike (Donna) Rogers of Warner Robins, David (Donna) Rogers of Warner Robins; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory of Warner Robins is in charge of arrangements.
