Chaos hold off Crush to win title

A battle between two of the best softball teams all season saw the Chaos and the Crush go head to head for the 13-18 softball championship.

The Chaos jumped out to an early 4-0 in the first inning, after three straight base hits from Chelsey Hancock, Faith Riley, and Breanna Reviere. All three players also scored in the inning, after a clutch two out double by Darbi Callaway. Callaway would later score in the inning after a two out single by Haley Parker.

Callaway led the Chaos with three hits and two runs scored, as the Chaos held off a late rally from the Crush to win the championship by a 13-8 score. Chelsey Hancock, Haley Parker, Breanna Reviere, and Vanessa Harp each finished with two hits in the game, while Kimberly Little and Faith Riley each chipped in with one hit in the victory.

Kimberly Harrison paced the Crush with a hit and two runs scored. Peyton Owens, Bethany Smith, Chelle Riddle, Kaylie Nordan, and Laurin Griffin each chipped in with one hit in the 13-8 loss.
