Mrs. Carel Hall Sewell, age 72 of 216 E. Goodrich Ave., Thomaston, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Christian Ministries Hospice.

Funeral services are being held today, Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Coggins Funeral Home in Thomaston with Rev. Robert Releford officiating. Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens in Thomaston.

Mrs. Sewell was born in Ontario, California. She worked in real estate. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Raymond Lewis Sewell.

Survivors include her two daughters, Mrs. Pamela (Donald) Bussey of Thomaston, Mrs. Martha Mills of Thomaston; two sons, Mr. Ray Sewell II of Thomaston; brother, Mr. Herbert (Katie) Hall of Nebraska; and two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Lewis of Thomaston, Mrs. Dorothy Lomax of California.
