The Lamar Republican Debate Committee has announced that all three candidates for the Third District U. S. Congressional Office now held by Representative Lynn Westmoreland have committed to participate in a debate to be held in Barnesville on July 3, 2012. The three candidates are U. S. Representative Lynn Westmoreland, Mr. Kent Kingsley, and Mr. Chip Flanegan.
The debate will be held within the Lamar County School’s Fine Arts Center, a state-of-the-art facility located at 126 Burnette Road in Barnesville. The debate will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3. Doors will open to the public at 6 p.m.
