The Upson-Lee NJROTC Precision Rifle Team competed in the Warhawk Classic Rifle Competition in Anniston, Alabama over the weekend. In a tough competition, the Knights took home second place overall in the competition with a team score of 2,267 points.


The Knights have had a solid season of shooting so far, and will take on Crawford County at the ULHS range next Wednesday at 4 p.m. Last season Upson-Lee finished sixth in the state in all classifications, and this season the Knights look primed to make another deep run.


In the Warhawk Classic, Rosemary Kramer earned a first place finish in the individual competition, while Miranda Baxley finished in seventh place overall in the individual competition.
