14 & Under Boys-
Nets: 36 OT
The Nets overcame a double digit deficit in the second half to force overtime against the Heat, and then outscored the Heat 7-0 in overtime to earn a 36-29 victory. Branterick Alexander led the way for the Nets with 15 points, including scoring eight points in the fourth quarter and overtime period.
Jaqualeon Harris finished with six points for the Nets, while Caleb Raines added five points. Trey Kelly and Jaylan Harris each tallied three points, and Brady Puckett and Ty Rechtorovic each scored two points in the victory.
Basil Clemons paced the Heat with 11 points in the game. Walter Peeler added eight points, while Dakarriyan Searcy tallied six points. D’Narta Searcy added two points for the Heat in the loss.
The Hawks made a huge come back in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Lakers 21-3 to earn a 40-27 victory. Jalen Ausbrooks led the Hawks with 15 points, including 12 points in the fourth quarter. Davione Draine tallied eight points, while Kion Colbert added seven points. Ke’Tavious Quiller and Trenton Salter each scored four points, and Alex Bacerra chipped in with two points.
The Bulls held the Pelicans scoreless in the first quarter on thier way to a 30-19 victory. Jawon Holmes led the balanced scoring attack for the Bulls with 10 points. De’Marrion Colbert added five points, Jemaron Holston and Chris Richardson tallied three points, while Cartez Ross and Tylan Wellmaker each chipped in with two points.
Malik Walker and Kameron Caldwell led the Pelicans with six points each. Jordan Griffin added three points, while Artez Smith and Justin Decker each tallied two points.
10 & Under Boys-
The Celtics dominated the Pistons on the way to a 25-4 victory. Naquan Woodard paced nine points, while Exzavious Skelton finished with six points. Amare Collier tallied four points in the victory. Keonte Williams, Ladunti Brice, and Jalen Walker each chipped in with two points in the contest.
Joshua Atwater scored two points and Javon Barron also chipped in with two points in the loss.
The Spurs dominated the Nuggets in a 38-4 blowout victory. Wesley Bentley ripped the nets for 15 points to lead the Spurs. Jykevious Searcy also reached double figures with 11 points. Talan Woodard added five points, and Darrell Wright chipped in with two points.
Malik Green tallied the only four points of the game for the Nuggets.
The Lakers and the Sixers battled in a nail biter, but it was the Lakers led by Jareden Kelly’s 13-point effort which gave the Lakers a 26-23 victory. Wanya Johnson tallied five points, Carmelo Williams tallied four points, while Zaequan Howard and Ameri Harris each chipped in with two points in the victory.
Only two players scored in the game for the Sixers. Milique Smith ripped the nets for 19 points and Jereuntay Davis added four points in the loss.
