The Thomaston Times
The Upson-Lee High School Class of 2014 held commencement exercises Friday night under a beautiful sky and in front of the stands at Matthews Field filled with parents, family and friends. On the field there were also some traditions acted out. In the first photo, one relatively new tradition is Upson-Lee Principal Tracy Caldwell giving the graduating class one more cheer of ‘U-L!” In the second photo is the old tradition of the graduates tossing their mortarboard hats high into the air, signaling the end of graduation and their high school days. For more photos of graduation, see Friday’s edition of The Thomaston Times.
