Pros coming to Thomaston Basketball Camp

Professional basketball players Chuck Bailey and Eli Holman will be in Thomaston from June 10-13 for a FREE Basketball Camp. The camp will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Monroe G. Worthy Community Center in Lincoln Park. Chuck Bailey is a 6’8” player who played at the University of Michigan and Detroit University. He has played professionally for eight years in Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, and Ecuador. Eli Holman (6’10”) is a former standout player at Indiana University, and has played professionally in Israel and Turkey. This past season in Turkey, Holman averaged 13.5 points per game and just over nine rebounds per game. He is set to play in the NBA Summer League with the Toronto Raptors. Players will learn team building exercises, the fundamentals of the game, and will hear from a guest speaker each day. The Camp is sponsored by Faith Clinic, and Bentley and Sons Funeral Home.
